Doeppenschmidt-Weidner Ranch Tour at Honey Creek State Natural Area
The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park present a rare tour of the Doeppenschmidt-Weidner Ranch in Honey Creek State Natural Area. Join them to explore the ranch site of the earliest settlers, learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century, visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872) and meet some of the Weidner descendants.

in the Honey Creek State Natural Area. Visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872). Learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century. Listen to Weidner descendants tell tales about their grandparents’ ranch.
