DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park present a rare tour of the Doeppenschmidt-Weidner Ranch in Honey Creek State Natural Area.  Join them to explore the ranch site of the earliest settlers\, learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century\, visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872) and meet some of the Weidner descendants.\n\n\n\nThis is our second tour of the historic Doeppenschmidt-Weidner Ranch - Explore the ranch site of the earliest settlers \n\nin the Honey Creek State Natural Area.  Visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872).  Learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century.  Listen to Weidner descendants tell tales about their grandparents' ranch.\n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, so register early!
