About Us

At St. Helena's Episcopal Church & School, we welcome all to come and share in the joy of Jesus. Our church offers three distinct worship services on Sunday mornings designed to engage people in worship in different ways: 7:45 a.m. Rite I, 9:00 contemporary Rite II with a worship band, and 11:00 a.m. traditional Rite II with our choir. Dress is casual, and kids wear whatever their parents can get on them. In the Episcopal Church, we celebrate communion every Sunday, and any baptized Christian is invited to share in the Lord’s Table. You are welcome to participate in worship to whatever degree you are comfortable, and you do not need to worry about doing something wrong or offending anyone. And, we love having children in worship! There is childcare available if needed; and kids are welcome to attend Kids Church, held during the 9:00 and 11:00 services.

At St. Helena's School, we welcome all God's children to grow with us in grace and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each school day begins in chapel where the children learn about the love of God. This crosses over into our classroom instruction, outreach projects, and interactions between classes. Our classrooms are safe, happy, engaging environments, filled with resources that allow students to learn in ways they naturally respond. We focus on faith, language, mathematics, science, art, and the human experience. Exploration is a valued part of the learning process, while continued assessment is a tool we use to inform instruction.
