About Us

Hope Hospice was founded as a nonprofit hospice, in 1984, by a dedicated group of community members, and many are still involved today. Hope Hospice has stayed true to their vision ever since. We are governed by community members, making decisions that have the best interests of our patients and families in mind, rather than shareholders.

Nearly 40 Years of Experience
Since 1984, we have provided a loving embrace on a difficult journey to over 15,000 patients and their families in our community.

Non-Profit, Community-Owned
Our hearts are in the right place. We are dedicated to reinvesting 100% of the operating margin into patient care.

Community Assistance Program
We don’t turn anyone who qualifies for service away, regardless of their ability to pay. We believe that no one should die alone and that all who need end-of-life care should receive it.

Children’s & Adult Grief Program
Our grief support is offered to anyone in the community who needs it…not just to those families whose loved ones were in Hope’s service.

We Honor Veterans Program
Our staff is trained to serve our veterans and being sensitive to their emotional and physical needs.

Low Nurse to Patient Ratio
ALL Care Managers are RNs, nurses available 24/7. Customized Plan of Care for each patient. Quick Response to patient needs by all team members.
