We are an independent, woman-owned and operated business based in Boerne, Texas with a satellite yard in Kerrville, Texas.  We provide portable toilet, holding tank and hand washing station rentals and service as well as RV pumping services for construction, special events and emergency relief. 

We service all of Bexar, Kendall, Comal, Gillespie, Kerr, Bandera and Blanco counties including San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels, Helotes, Blanco, Comfort, Bandera, Medina, Fredericksburg and Kerrville. Our goal and mission is to raise the bar of the portable sanitation industry by providing quality units with exceptional service to our local communities.  We take great pride in our inventory and service and are dedicated to bettering both our community and environment through volunteer services, donation and recycling.

POSITION SUMMARY: PRO TECH (Route Service Driver)
We seek Pro Techs who are highly motivated, fast learning, dedicated and reliable and who also demonstrate good work ethic and ability to quickly adapt to various challenges and conditions.  One of the most important aspects of the job is to show up daily, on-time and ready to work.  This includes dressing properly for the weather conditions and having a state issued ID on your person so that you may access restricted areas such as gated communities that require proper ID to enter.

Pro Techs will aid with rental yard organization, unit upkeep and repairs, preparation for and follow through of delivery/pick-up of units as well as operate company service truck- driving to various locations to service/pump/clean portable restrooms or holding tanks.  This position will ensure workplace health/safety requirements are met.  Position may include other duties, as assigned, related to the daily operation of our service business.

Benefits and Requirements:
  • Full time positions are available. 
  • Normal route shifts range between 6 and 10 hours with some night/weekend/holiday requirements. 
  • Training pay is $10.00 per hour (typically 1-2 weeks). 
  • Starting pay is $13.50 per hour with a 60-day probationary period; increased pay rate after 60 days.
  • Opportunity for pay increases and advancement (goal of management). 
  • 1.5x Overtime (after 40 hours per week)
  • Select paid holidays
  • Payroll is every other week (every 2 weeks)
  • Medical program available with local family practice.
TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
  • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check, driving record check and drug test.
  • Company reserves the right to randomly drug test at any time.
  • Must have valid driver's license and valid, legal working permit if not US resident.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk, sometimes long distances.  The employee is also required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move between 50 and 250 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to focus. 

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions (in some cases extreme heat/cold), moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  This position requires employee to travel regularly to off-site work locations and as such, use of vehicle is provided.

Language/mathematical/reasoning ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.  Ability to perform simple arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to perform these operations using units of American currency, measurement, weight and distance.  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies/improper operation/faulty equipment/unusual conditions to manager.
  • Operate service truck to and from pre-designated work sites on daily routing information.
  • Maintain telephone contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions/changes to work locations/etc.
  • Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks or RV pump outs at various work sites by following Company guidelines.
  • Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. in units being serviced.
  • Clean interior and exterior of units and add chemicals to portable restroom units.
  • Load/unload/move portable restroom units/sinks/holding tanks on a regular basis.
  • Troubleshoot hose/pump/truck operations in the field.
  • Navigate high traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, lots, construction sites and areas with high public traffic.
  • Regularly interact with customers and tradesmen on job sites in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Maintain truck and dump logs according to state and federal regulations.
  • Regularly dispose of tank waste at designated waste water facilities when tank reaches capacity.
  • Make minor repairs on-site such as remove/replace hand sanitizer units, toilet seats, toilet paper holders, mirrors, etc.
  • Install/uninstall holding tank connections to trailers/RVs.
  • Due to special events, Pro Tech may at times be required to work nights/weekends/holidays.
  • Follow all established safety rules & regulations as well as cleaning and service procedures.
  • Special/other projects assigned by management
  • At the end of each day, employee will turn in a log noting all units serviced and delivered during that day.  In addition, employee will turn in exception report for any units unable to be serviced due to restricted access, inability to locate unit or lack of time.

  • Age of 21 years or older
  • Ability to use GPS/text/smart phone/computer
  • Ability to enter/exit truck frequently and lift heavy objects
  • Ability to multi-task and improvise in challenging situations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong verbal, writing and mathematical skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond customer expectations
  • Clean criminal background
  • Clean driving record (no accidents, minimal moving violations) acceptable to our insurance carrier
  • Clean drug test

  • CDL
  • Mechanical knowledge of pumps/automotive
  • Welding skills
