Overview:
The Part-Time Cashier & Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Operate cash register, handle payments, and process returns/exchanges accurately
- Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves and displays
- Support inventory tasks such as restocking and facing merchandise
- Follow store policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and customer needs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Retail experience preferred but not required
