Production Associate Full Time

Kendall County Women's Shelter is looking for a new full-time production associate for their Boerne thrift store, Fabulous Finds.

Overview: Responsible for moving, loading, and unloading of furniture and household goods delivered to Fabulous Finds and picked up by Fabulous Finds team. May need to report to Fabulous Finds Too location in Comfort, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Lift, carry, and load furniture weighing up to 100 pounds, onto trailers for transport from donor locations to Fabulous Finds & Fabulous Finds Too, including up and down stairs.*

· Collect furniture from residential, individual and/or commercial client and donor homes and facilities*

· Follows established furniture donation policies and procedures at all times*

· Assists with store opening and closing procedures.*

· Receives, processes and prices donations.*

· Organizes and maintains seasonal store goods and transports merchandise to sales floor displays and stocks shelves and racks, rotating as needed.*

· Assists with scheduling and collection of site donations.*

· Assists with the moving and assembly of furniture, fixtures, and displays.*

· Assists in housekeeping and general upkeep of the store.*

· Maintains outdoor facilities including the parking lot, storage buildings, and basement.*

· Assists and directs volunteers as needed.*

· Responsible for store operations in the absence of the Manager.*

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software, internet software and cash register.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

· Valid driver's license

· CPR certification

· First Aid certification

Pay: $10 - $12 per hour.
