E-Commerce Sales & Support Associate
Job Title:
E-Commerce Sales & Support Associate
About the Role:
We’re a small, growing business looking for a friendly and reliable team member to help us keep things running smoothly. In this role, you’ll wear a lot of hats — from answering phones and helping customers, to creating eBay listings, packing and shipping orders, and even helping us run our live auctions on eBay Live. This isn’t just another boring desk job — it’s an opportunity to learn a trade in the world of online sales and auctions, with room to grow and take on more responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-
Answer customer calls and messages with a friendly, helpful attitude
-
Provide product and service information, and assist with basic troubleshooting when needed
-
Create and manage eBay listings (photos, descriptions, pricing)
-
Pack and ship customer orders quickly and accurately
-
Assist in hosting and running eBay Live auctions (chatting with bidders, showcasing items, and helping during live events)
-
Keep customer records updated and organized
-
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace and shipping area
-
Pitch in with other day-to-day tasks as needed — we’re a small team, so teamwork is key!
What We’re Looking For:
-
Someone with a positive, professional, and approachable demeanor
-
Strong communication skills (phone, email, and live online interactions)
-
Ability to build rapport with customers and provide great service
-
Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-
Basic computer skills (email, internet, eBay tools — training provided)
-
Prior experience in customer service, e-commerce, or shipping is helpful, but not required
-
A self-starter who’s interested in growing into sales opportunities — commission available for those who want to build sales skills and earn more
Why This Job is Unique:
Working here isn’t just about processing orders — it’s about being part of a fascinating industry. Coins aren’t just collectibles, they’re pieces of history. As you help with listings, auctions, and customer interactions, you’ll naturally start to learn about Numismatics (the study of coins) and the incredible stories they tell about world history. It’s hands-on, it’s interesting, and it makes every day a little more fun than your typical desk job.
Job Type: Full-time (part-time may be considered)
Pay: $17-22/hr Base hourly pay (DOE) plus commission opportunities for sales-minded team members
