Part-Time - Business Manager – Local Radio Station
Overview:
The Business Manager oversees the station's financial, administrative, and operational aspects. This role ensures smooth day-to-day management of business functions, compliance with company policies, and support for the sales and programming teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and monitor station budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and collections for advertising clients.
- Maintain compliance with FCC, corporate, and local business regulations.
- Work closely with the General Manager to develop financial strategies and meet revenue goals.
- Support the sales team with contract management and inventory tracking.
- Coordinate with engineering and programming departments on capital expenditures.
- Strong organizational and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in radio, media, or small business operations preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
