Part-Time - Business Manager – Local Radio Station
Overview:
The Business Manager oversees the station's financial, administrative, and operational aspects. This role ensures smooth day-to-day management of business functions, compliance with company policies, and support for the sales and programming teams.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and monitor station budgets, financial reports, and expense tracking.
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and collections for advertising clients.
  • Maintain compliance with FCC, corporate, and local business regulations.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to develop financial strategies and meet revenue goals.
  • Support the sales team with contract management and inventory tracking.
  • Coordinate with engineering and programming departments on capital expenditures.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience in radio, media, or small business operations preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Supervises: Office/Administrative staff (if applicable)
