Job Description
Share the beautiful Cibolo creek, prairie, forest, and marsh with groups of school children from the Boerne and San Antonio area. Work with the students to foster an appreciation, understanding and responsibility for the environment. Students, mostly elementary age, come from a variety of backgrounds and for some, it’s their first experience in nature.
 
Teach engaging, hands-on classes in the great outdoors with topics including forest ecology, earth science and aquatic ecology.
 
In order to succeed in this position, you must have a demonstrated respect and affinity for children and a desire to help them learn in an outdoor environment. The following characteristics are essential: enthusiasm, maturity, initiative, sense of humor and flexibility. All employees will undergo a background check prior to starting position.
 
Days of the week are flexible and most days start at 9:00AM and conclude around noon. Programs run weekdays mid-September through the end of November and February 1 through the middle of May.

Minimal experience required, just a passion for children in nature.  Training is available and necessary.

$40/day
