Home Reimagined General Contractors is a veteran-owned (SDVOSB) general contractor based in San Antonio, specializing in residential remodeling, commercial painting, and light commercial renovation. We hold Texas HUB/VetHUB and EPA Lead-Safe certifications and serve homeowners, prime contractors, and government clients. The Role
We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who can hit the ground running. You will own a portfolio of active projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout, managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and client relationships. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable in the field, not behind a desk.

Typical workload is 1 to 3 larger or more complex projects, or 3 to 5 residential projects running at once.

To be direct about what we need: we are looking for someone who can step in and manage work with minimal ramp-up. If you have run remodeling or light commercial projects before and are ready to take ownership from day one, you will do well here.

What You'll Own

• Run assigned projects start to finish, holding schedule, budget, and quality
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors, including scheduling, scope enforcement, and performance
• Control project budgets and costs, tracking against estimate and flagging variances early
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and confident throughout the job
• Build and maintain project schedules, sequencing trades to keep work moving
• Supervise on site, conducting regular walkthroughs and quality checks
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Support permitting and inspection coordination
• Keep project records current in our project management software (JobTread)
• Enforce jobsite safety and cleanliness standards

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years managing construction projects, ideally residential remodeling, light commercial, or painting
• Proven ability to run multiple projects at the same time without losing track of details
• Strong subcontractor management skills, able to hold trades accountable to scope and schedule
• Solid understanding of construction budgets, cost tracking, and change orders
• Able to read and work from plans and scopes of work
• Excellent client communication, professional, responsive, and calm under pressure
• Self-directed and organized, comfortable operating with limited oversight
• Comfortable with project management software and general computer work (JobTread, Procore, or Buildertrend experience a plus)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to be on active jobsites regularly, including walking sites, climbing ladders, and lifting as needed

Nice to Have

• Residential remodeling background
• Commercial painting project experience
• Familiarity with permitting and inspections in the San Antonio area
• OSHA 30 certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with government, insurance restoration, or prime contractor work
