Production - Fabrication

Job Summary 

Duties would include cutting mortise and tenon joints, surfacing and finishing timbers, and moving material with the forklift. Construct and repair timber frames/packages, rafters, posts, beams, and trusses. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Working with power tools (skill saw, belt sander, power drill, etc.) 

• Working with traditional hand tools (chisel, mallets, etc.) 

• Sanding timber 

• Distressing timber 

• Cutting and cleaning/squaring joinery on timber 

• Ability to effectively read plans and details        

Qualifications 

• Experience in residential and commercial construction  

• Capable of using power tools with confidence  

• Carpenter, Framer, or Woodworking experience
