Essential Functions

· Greet customers and accurately process routine teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing
· Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records in accordance with bank policies and audit standards
· Verify customer identification, endorsements, and documentation to ensure transaction accuracy and fraud prevention
· Follow all security procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements to protect customers and the bank
· Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues as needed
· Support branch operations by assisting with vault duties, night drop processing, and other operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • One-year of prior banking experience
  • One year of cash handling preferred
  • Proven strong service orientation and excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills including effective time management in all key responsibilities of the job.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to establish positive working relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Willing and able to spend significant amounts of time answering customer inquiries via phone and email.

Physical Requirement

  • This position requires prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.
