  • Full-cycle Accounts Payable
  • Creating and updating expense reports
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Processing wire transfers and ACHs
Job brief
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and accounts payable. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities
 
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  • Create and update expense reports
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  • Maintain digital financial records
  • Reconcile internal bank accounts
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits
  • Complete monthly board reports
  • Reconcile interest for CD portfolio
  • Process wire transfers and ACHs
Requirements
 
  • Progress or near completion of Business Degree
  • Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
  • Familiarity with finance regulations
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Hands-on advanced level experience with MS Excel
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Experience with banking systems & terminology is preferable
