Join us for an educational workshop featuring David Ramirez from the UTSA Small Business Development Center and SDMRamirez where he will be presenting "Artificial Intelligence for Small Business".
This workshop is an overview of AI, its applications, and its potential to streamline business operations. Participants will explore the current AI landscape, learn from real-world examples, and gain practical insights into integrating AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva. We will explore how these tools can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and customer experience, providing a competitive edge.
The workshop will also address critical data privacy concerns and ethical AI, ensuring participants can navigate these challenges responsibly. We will introduce the RISEN framework for AI prompt engineering, providing a structured approach to implementing AI solutions effectively. Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions will offer personalized guidance, enabling attendees to tailor AI strategies to their business needs. S. David Ramirez, CFEE
S. David Ramirez is an award-winning marketing professional and technologist from San Antonio, Texas. He is the founder of SDMRamirez, LLC, a consultancy specializing in leveraging technology to drive innovation in events, tourism, and community development. He also leads partnerships and events at TINT, a software company building enterprise content tools.
David is a speaker and facilitator, delivering keynote presentations and workshops on Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, and marketing technologies. His recent talks include a keynote on Artificial Intelligence at the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA), a session on AI for economic development professionals at the America’s Small Business Development Centers Conference, and workshops on AI for small business at Angelo State University and University of Texas at San Antonio. Through his work, David empowers professionals to navigate the evolving technological landscape with confidence and creativity.
Beyond his professional expertise, David serves on the International Festivals and Events Association Foundation and the Texas Festivals and Events Association boards. When not exploring the possibilities of AI, he enjoys anime, craft beers, and science fiction.
The event cost is $10 for members and $35 for non-members. Registration fee is non-refundable.
