Weihnachts Parade
A Boerne Christmas Tradition

The Weihnachts Parade is a beloved Christmas tradition in Boerne dating back more than 30 years. Always on the first Saturday of December, the parade is held at night along historic and charming Main Street.

Up to 100 floats, bands, and other entries are lit up in the holiday cheer as they make their way from the Fire Station to the parade's end at River Road. Grab a chair and some blankets and pick out your space to take it all in.

Weihnachts Parade 2023

The 2023 Weihnacths Parade will be the 36th anniversary of this tradition - the only night parade in town! It will be held at 6 p.m. on December 2, 2023.

If the parade needs to be delayed due to weather, it will be held on the backup date of Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Parade Registration

Do you want to be a part of the festivities? Then sign up your group, company, or organization and start designing your float! The theme for the 2023 parade is a Griswold Christmas.

Registration will open on October 1, 2023, and can be done on the Parks and Recreation booking site.
