You’re invited to support your favorite nonprofits during the 24-hour South-Central Texas event called The Big Give! You can help transform lives and improve the community by giving to local nonprofit organizations during The Big Give, which will take place from Wednesday, September 18, at 6 PM through Thursday, September 19, at 6 PM.

What makes this 24-hour event so special, is that during this time, your donations can be matched by generous donors and at specific minutes throughout. Together, we can transform and improve our communities and the lives of our neighbors.
We invite you to visit hillcountrydailybread.org during this time to see how you can help families living in poverty and crisis. In 2023, more than 82,000 people, in 8 counties, were reached through the Ministry’s Community Resource Program of which 35% or 28,700 individuals were children. This Program serves local non-profits with their no-fee foodbank, clothing, diapers, and other essential hygiene products. Beyond distributing food and basic resources to meet the most essential of needs, thousands are served through HCDBM’s Family Mentoring Program. Mentors are matched through local churches to walk alongside families who need help and are supported by Case Managers.
