Girl Talk: Annual Mother-Daughter Seminar

Event Overview:
Girls in grades three (3) through five (5) are invited to a free “Girl Talk” offered by Hill Country Memorial on Tuesday, Feb 22, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Elementary School cafeteria, 1608 N. Adams Street, Fredericksburg.
 
Jennifer Dulaney, MD, FACOG, of Women and Children First, along with Kellie Flood-Shaffer, MD, FACOG, of the HCM Medical Group will conduct the interactive seminar on transiting to a young woman. Topics will cover basic female anatomy, feminine hygiene, and menstrual and hormonal cycles.
 
The event is free and moms are asked to accompany their daughters.
 
Each attendee will receive a goodie bag, and light refreshments will be served.
