Community Rag Rug Making at the Kuhlmann-King House

Help create a piece of Boerne history! ✨🧵
Interested in being part of a unique blending of Boerne culture and creativity? The Kuhlman-King House/ BAHPS is inviting kids of all ages to help create a Community Rag Rug!
Inspired by Sophie Blackall’s book, Story Rug, this community project will bring people together to create a beautiful braided rag rug that will be displayed at the Kuhlmann-King Historic House Museum for years to come.
Participants will braid strips of fabric and then use a needle and thread to connect the strands together. Bring along fabric you’d like to recycle and give a new life to, such as an old sheet, a pair of old jeans or other unused fabric.
