DESCRIPTION:Join the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce for a special presentation on the City of Boerne's Unified Development Code by Planning Director\, Laura Haning.\n\n\n\nThe City's Unified Development Code (UDC) will combine various city ordinances relating to development into a single document. The creation of the UDC for Boerne began in 2019. It is the first major project undertaken to implement the Boerne Master Plan updated in 2018. With the new UDC\, the City can assure consistency to minimize confusion and contradiction between different ordinances\, align development regulations with the Master Plan\, and provide a more efficient development process. As part of the UDC\, a citywide rezoning is underway as well as an update to the city's Overlay Districts. Laura Haning\, Planning Director for the City of Boerne\, will explain how we got where we are\, what do the rezonings mean for business owners and how the revised Overlay Districts play into the zonings.
