DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a full day of all fun out on the farm!\n\nHelp us save the Monarchs!\n\nMonarch Butterflies migrate each year across the United States. There are two migrating populations of monarch butterflies in North American divided by the Rocky Mountains. The range of eastern monarchs extends from Canada to Mexico\, while western monarchs are more focused in the United States from the Pacific Coast inward.\n\nHere at the Cibolo Center for Conservation\, we take particular interest in helping to protect Monarch Butterflies. Though we have all heard of Monarchs\, most of us don't realize what an impressive species they are. We created a Monarch Festival to create awareness around the monarchs great migration.\n\nJoin us on October 23rd for a full day of fun while learning about Monarchs and more on Herff Farm. Families and individuals will have the opportunity to visit the trails on the farm while choosing from plenty of activities to participate in:\n\n  Native Plant Sale\n\n  Live Monarchs\n\n  Archery\n\n  Seed Catapults\n\n  Children's Butterfly and Aerial Yoga\n\n  Marigold Picking for Dia de los Muertos\n\n  Pollinator Parade\n\n  Storytime in the Garden\n\n  Interactive Beekeeping Booth\n\n  Activities for the whole family\n\nAdults can also register for Festive Marigold Painting ($35 per person\, per painting) Free admission to the festival comes with purchase of this class.\n\nAn Introduction to Beekeeping Class will take place right after the festival at 2pm in the Herff House. Free admission to the festival comes with the purchase of this class.
