DESCRIPTION:Real Cowboys! Real Fun!\n\n\nThe 5th Annual Family Ranch Rodeo Fest at the Kendall County Youth Ag & Equestrian Center (KCYAEC) is set for Saturday\, October 1.\n\n\n\nThe event will give folks a glimpse into the real day-to-day life of ranch cowboys and cowgirls as well as their outstanding character. Differing from a professional rodeo\, the ranch rodeo features tasks that ranch hands regularly encounter such as rounding up cattle for doctoring and loading for transport.\n\n   \n\nTen teams many from Kendall County will compete for prize money\, buckles and other awards.  To reflect the very real makeup of many ranching families\, the rules call for at least one of the four team members to be a female or a youth under the age of 17.\n\n    \n\nThe Family Ranch Rodeo Fest will feature fun for the entire family including mutton busting\, goat roping\, kids' activities\, a silent and online auction\, food & refreshments and live music with the Tailgaters.\n\n    \n\nProceeds from the event support KCYAEC\, home to more than 400 4-H\, FFA and Jr. Livestock members who participate in agriculture and equestrian activities\, competitions\, and educational enterprises.\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\nFRIDAY: Night goat roping at 7PM\n\n\n\nSATURDAY:\n\n1:00 PM: Gates Open\n\n3:30 PM: Grand Entry\, Rodeo\, Mutton Bustin' & Silent Auction opens\n\n6:30 PM: Dance\n\n7:30 PM: Awards\n\n8:00 PM: Live Auction11:00 Adios!
