Hot Deal

Offer Valid: 03/23/2020 - 04/30/2020
Updates from Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky Place
The Rainbow Senior Center at Kronkosky Place will be closed until April 3rd, following B.I.S.D. We are continuing to do everything we can to safely provide nutrition to our senior neighbors; we are delivering hot meals, frozen meals, as well as Shelf Stable Meals, and our members who typically eat at RSC needing meals have been placed temporarily on our Meals on Wheels Kendall County Program. If you or anyone you know is over the age of 55 and in need of home-delivered meals, please call us at (830) 249-2114.
Other resources in the community include:
  • Free breakfast and lunch meals will be served M-F for children and their families at Boerne Middle School South and Curington ES. Check the BISD site for hours and menus.
  • Emergency food pantry at Comfort Table, located at 318 High Street, Comfort, TX, 78013
  • If you need food today, Hill Country Daily Bread is available to provide emergency food at their Boerne campus. (830) 755-5200
  • If you need groceries due to crisis, please contact HCFS at (830) 249-8643 and place your order for curbside pick up.
We are so grateful to our wonderful Meals on Wheels Volunteers for their dedicated service. As we continue to see the program grow, we may need new volunteers; please contact with your name and information if you would like to volunteer in the future.
You can change a life with a $7 donation to provide a home-delivered meal for Meals on Wheels’ elderly clients, who are considered high risk for COVID-19. Seven dollars ensures a senior does not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
Please consider donating through the following avenues:
No senior should feel alone, hungry or forgotten. Thank you for your support!
