The Customer Service Representative/Banker is a key role in helping THB to deliver on our vision of providing trusted financial advice and service to our customers. While this role will allow you to build lifelong relationships with our customers, it will also allow you to demonstrate leadership through contributing to our bank’s culture and supporting customers in achieving their financial goals. As part of the THB team, you will play a vital role in living out our commitment to the highest ethical standards and maintaining the valued trust of our customers and communities.
The Customer Service Representative/Banker provides prompt quality customer service along with support to other team members.  This position will require the performance of a wide range of services including document preparation, account servicing/maintenance and problem resolution, solicit new accounts and cross-sell products/services when appropriate and may also have teller responsibilities to cover gaps in staffing or peak customer transaction demand.
Desired Qualifications 
  • 1 year of experience handling cash such as preparing deposits or handling store revenue
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Good communication skills including speaking clearly, succinctly, and accurately while using a pleasant tone and common conversational courtesies
  • Experience assessing and meeting the needs of customers
  • Experience achieving individual and team goals
  • Experience interacting positively with unsatisfied customers
  • Experience solving customer problems/concerns
Specific Duties to include (but not limited to):
  • Initiate outgoing wire transfer requests
  • Handle all facets of online banking: general assistance, reset passcodes or enable access, work system messages daily
  • Handle all facets of debit cards: renewals and reorders, PIN resets, limit adjustments, fraud/disputes
  • Handle all facets of bill pay: enrolling new customers, all related maintenance
  • Respond to all phone inquiries
  • Respond to customer research requests
  • Respond to all deposit verifications
  • Complete all required paperwork regarding fraud/claims
  • Revision of signatures on accounts
  • Process various requests such as check orders, stop payments, balance inquiries, transfer of      funds
  • All facets of New Accounts
  • Some Teller relief
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Officer
