The trail is about two miles long and moderate in difficulty--much of it is flat.  There are some rocky areas, slopes, and two steep but short hills.  *Expect the walk to last ~2.5 hours - there are frequent stops where your Guide will discuss topics such as flora, fauna and geology.

It’s time for Moondance! Since 2000, outdoor concerts have been hosted under the oaks and stars at The Cibolo. Each year, visitors and locals alike have gathered as a community to enjoy live music, local vendors, and good times—a tradition that all started with friends coming together to tell stories, sing songs, and dance. From May to September, get ready for five nights of stories and songs in the heart of the Hill Country.

Grab a friend, bring a cooler, and set up your chair or blanket. See you there!

On the tour, you’ll hear about history, geology, plants, and animals of this special place. At the scenic overlook, you’ll get a first glimpse of Honey Creek winding through bald cypress trees far below. The tour culminates in a walk by the pristine and peaceful creek.

The trail is about two miles long and moderate in difficulty--much of it is flat.  There are some rocky areas, slopes, and two steep but short hills.  *Expect the walk to last ~2.5 hours - there are frequent stops where your Guide will discuss topics such as flora, fauna and geology.  

Who: Recommended for ages 7 and up; no dogs, please, except for service dogs
Meet: Outside the Rust House (located within Guadalupe River State Park)
When: 9- 11:30am

A lively community evening takes place during First Saturdays on Main every first Saturday of the month from 5 pm to 8 pm along the Hill Country Mile, 141 W Blanco Rd., Boerne, TX 78006.

This monthly event is presented by The Boerne Life in partnership with the Boerne Retail & Restaurant Owners Association, bringing together locals and visitors for an evening of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Shops and boutiques stay open late, offering exclusive discounts, special promotions, and opportunities to discover new favorites.

Experience a hands-on class at Herff Farm exploring the history, science, and techniques of sourdough breadmaking—with a special focus on fermentation and gut health. Led by Andrea Bohn, this workshop will guide you through every step, from understanding fermentation to kneading, shaping, and baking your own loaf. Each year, visitors and locals alike have gathered as a community to enjoy live music, local vendors, and good times—a tradition that all started with friends coming together to tell stories, sing songs, and dance. From May to September, get ready for five nights of stories and songs in the heart of the Hill Country.

We lead two-mile tours of the natural area most Saturdays and Sundays. For details, check our Events Page at https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/honey-creek/park_events

On the tour, you’ll hear about history, geology, plants, and animals of this special place. At the scenic overlook, you’ll get a first glimpse of Honey Creek winding through bald cypress trees far below. The tour culminates in a walk by the pristine and peaceful creek.

The trail is about two miles long and moderate in difficulty--much of it is flat.  There are some rocky areas, slopes, and two steep but short hills.  *Expect the walk to last ~2.5 hours - there are frequent stops where your Guide will discuss topics such as flora, fauna and geology.  

Who: Recommended for ages 7 and up; no dogs, please, except for service dogs
Meet: Outside the Rust House (located within Guadalupe River State Park)
When: 9- 11:30am
Bring: Sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection.  It is imperative to dress for the weather and be hydrated during the summer months.
